Adnams Artist of the Month
June 2010

Ingi

The first Adnams Artist of the Month is Ingi who is based in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Coming from a country more known for exporting cutting, surreal sounds, Ingi proves to be an exception as his music holds more in common with Bob Dylan rather than fellow country people Bjork and Sigur Ros.

With his new album Human Oddities produced by multi platinum award winning producer Scott Mathews who has worked with the likes of David Bowie, Johnny Cash and Eric Clapton to name but a few, plus well renowned session musicians like Tom Leukens, it is no wonder Ingi’s music is proving to be a hit with the Icelanders.

Quoted as being a remarkable album which will sit proudly in any collection, you can find more information including details on how you can purchase Ingi’s material on his website www.myspace.com/ingitunes

Each month a member of the team at Adnams selects a favourite artist from the Suffolk and Cool playlist from the preceding month to be the Adnams Artist of the Month.

The choice is made entirely by the reviewer and may well reflect their personal taste in music. Actually, there really isn't any other kind of taste in music. It's just personal.

So here you'll find the choices of some real people from Adnams in Southwold.

We can expect a few surprises.

Fergus Fitzgerald
Head Brewer

The man with responsibility for brewing the Adnams range is 34 year old dad-of-one Fergus Fitzgerald.
"My first job was in a dairy testing cheese that had been stored at 25C for a month. I decided fairly quickly that was not for me."
Fergus trained at the Murphy brewery in Cork and at Fullers in London, before moving to Adnams as assistant brewer 2004.
Now a fully qualified Master Brewer, he took over as Head Brewer in 2009.

Fergus blogs at adnams.co.uk and you can follow him on Twitter @Solebear
